Pool Rules
    • Members and their guests must WALK on the pool deck. NO RUNNING!
    • Members and guests should not question the authority of the lifeguards. Any complaints shall be made to the manager/assistant manager on duty.
    • All bathers are encouraged to “rinse off” prior to entering the pool. All patrons leaving the pool area must rinse his/her feet prior to re-entering the pool.
    • Any person with a skin disease, nasal or ear discharge, inflamed eyes, any communicable disease, or who is wearing a bandage will not be permitted to enter the pool.
    • Persons with open cuts, blisters, etc. are advised that these may become infected and are advised NOT to use the pool.
    • Food is NOT allowed IN or NEAR the pool. All food must be consumed away from the edge of the pool, preferably under the pavilion.
    • Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted IN or unattended on the edge of the pool, but may be consumed (IN MODERATION) on the grounds so long as no branding is visible (i.e. beer conas must be covered by a “koozy”. Unattended beverages of any sort are subject to disposable by pool staff.
    • GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY SORT ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE POOL PROPERTY.
    • Chewing gum is NOT allowed IN the pool.
    • Smoking of any kind and the use of tobacco products is prohibited on pool property during regular operating hours.
    • A 10 minute rest period will occur every hour. At this time, only patrons 16 and older are permitted in the pool.
    • Balls and other recreationally thrown objects are permitted only when the manager/assistant manager determines it is safe for use.
    • USE OF FLOTATION DEVICES, INCLUDING LIFE PRESERVERS OF ALL TYPES, ARE ALLOWED IF AND ONLY IF THE CHILD IS WITHIN ARMS REACH OF AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE POOL, TO INCLUDE WHILE GOING OFF THE DIVING BOARD, DOWN THE SLIDE AND/OR SWIMMING IN THE DEEP END.
    • Swim fins may not be used during regular operating hours.
    • Face masks must have plastic or tempered lenses/face pieces.
    • Snorkels are PROHIBITED.
    • Persons unable to demonstrate to the lifeguards an ability to pass the basic swim tests are not permitted in water beyond chest deep.
    • Proper bathing attire is the ONLY items patrons are allowed to wear while IN the pool.
    • Abusive, offensive or profane language is prohibited on pool property and can be subject to removal by the manager/assistant manager on duty.
    • Personal radios are permitted on the pool deck, but must be operated at appropriate volume levels that are not offensive or disturbing to other members of guests in the immediate area.
    • No pets of any kind are permitted within the fenced pool property. Service animals of patrons, with proper documentation, are permitted while the patron is attending the pool.
    • Playpens, strollers, and baby carriages are permitted in areas designed by the manager.
    • Children who are NOT toilet trained must wear a swim diaper AND fitted rubber pants UNDER his or her swimsuit.
    • NOTE: PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WATCHING THEIR CHILD WHILE IN THE BABY POOL AREA. NO CHILD OVER THE AGE OF THREE (3) IS PERMITTED IN THE BABY POOL. NO LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY IN THE BABY POOL AREA.
    • DIVING BOARD/SLIDE – only ONE (1) person at a time is permitted on the diving board or ladder.
      • No one may dive from the board or go down the slide until the previous diver/slider has cleared the area under the board/slide and reached the ladder.
      • Only ONE (1) person at a time is allowed on the top level of the slide, with ONE (1) person at the top of the stairs. All other patrons must wait at the bottom of the stairs.
      • The diving board and slide will not be open simultaneously. The guard on duty at the high stand will determine which is open.
      • Diving from the deck on the side of the pool into the diving area is prohibited unless the diving board/slide has been closed.

THE POOL MANAGER AND LIFEGUARDS ARE EMPLOYED FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PATRONS AND TO ENFORCE THE POOL RULES. INFRACTIONS OF THE RULES AND UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS MAY RESULT IN CONSEQUENCES TO PATRONS, WHICH MAY INCLUDE BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE POOL PROPERTY, PAYMENT FOR DAMAGES, INVOLVEMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SUSPENSION AND/OR CANCELATION OF POOL PRIVILEGES.
